Fix a problem

The maintenance page is not showing

Confirm maintenance mode, test the project domain, and restore the app when ready.

1. Turn on maintenance mode

Open your project, select Maintenance, enter the message visitors should see, and switch maintenance mode on. Wait for the completion message in the maintenance log.

2. Test the public domain

Open the project's public domain in a private/incognito window. You should see the Alkimist maintenance page and your message. Do not test /up; that endpoint remains available for platform health checks.

3. If the application still appears

Confirm you enabled maintenance for the correct project and domain, then refresh without the browser cache. Maintenance mode does not require a new deployment.

4. Put the application live again

Return to Maintenance and switch the mode off. When the completion message appears, reload the public domain. The existing deployed application should return immediately.
